The fit is simply unbelievable. I am a person who generally gets multiple bloody blisters from footwear either new or not worn/walked in recently. The centrist mildly rubbed one spot on one foot. I bought a size 8. The next day got my first new pair of sneakers in years - so i went to a store to get professionally fit. i had just measured my feet 9.5." THe sneaker pro used a fancy machine: L foot size 7.5, / R foot 8. Some of my shoes are 38s some 39s. He recommended an 8.5, my g0-to size, i bought a pair of insoles for more arch support and no blisters from new sneakers, either. The Centrist has less arch support then i'd like. Am old and sure i have less arch height then once upon a time when my spine had 2.75" more height. The only thing i'd change about the Centrist - a wee bit more arch support. I am mentally ill. I like that this company wants to understand people like me. I wish they could find me a new psychiatrist or figure out what's going on with mine. Funny thing - i discovered this shoe going through a catalogue i never asked for but receive and usually instantly recycle. However i was on hold and grabbed it and there was The Centrist. Oh, yes, the other thing i'd definitely change: give the brown i chose a beautiful contrasting color like the Cashew color has. And i'd want the new wavy higher outsole - but i'll have it replaced with that, hopefully, when the time arrives. Sorry for all the detail. [purchased from another vendor]
Am about to buy the Lydyi, in Teak so excited to see the sole in black. Just want to confirm size.
